Dr. Liyomi Thennegedara is a general practitioner with over 10 years of experience in the medical field. She is a graduate of Rajarata University of Sri Lanka and has worked as a senior medical officer in major government hospitals across the country. With her experience in emergency medicine, general surgery, pediatrics, gynecology, and obstetrics in Sri Lanka, she is equipped with the knowledge and skills to serve her patients effectively as a general practitioner.
Dr. Thennegedara has been in general practice in Oman, managing non-communicable diseases and infectious diseases, and has expertise in emergency care, accident and trauma care, and occupational health. Her care extends to educating patients on lifestyle modifications and providing nutritional advice to manage chronic diseases.
She is fluent in English, Hindi, Sinhala, and basic Arabic and Tamil, which facilitates effective communication.
